A few friends and I headed out to the Red Bull Air Races today here in San Diego. For those who’ve never heard of the races, here’s a quick explanation from the Red Bull website:

Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons, flying at speeds reaching 370 km/h (230 mph) while withstanding forces of up to 12g.

Lazy Saturday + Action Figure

It’s Saturday, I’m home alone for the weekend, and I’m procrastinating. In the spirit of procrastination, I headed outside and took a snapshot of a “action figure” I ordered last December. I had seen a few photos of “Danboard” and decided it would be cool to get one. I’ve never seen the Japanese Manga series “Yotsuba&!” where the character comes from, but that didn’t stop me. For now, he sits on my shelf, looking extremely sad.

On a happier note, I’m off to the Red Bull Air Races tomorrow. Should be fun.
